The Tampa Palms North Architectural Design Review Committee consists of volunteer homeowners from the different community neighborhoods to assist with helping to maintain a harmonious design in the community. The committee is appointed by the Board and is governed by the Tampa Palms North Homeowner Association documents. Architectural Guidelines were developed by the community in accordance with the Declaration for the Association and are updated from time to time. Homeowners may not make any modifications to the exterior of their home without an approval in writing from the committee. One request is allowed per application. Per the Association documents, the committee is allowed 45 days to provide a response to the homeowner architectural modification requests, but the time is usually much shorter, unless more information is needed.
Please note the new architectural guidelines regarding basketball hoops became effective October 21, 2015 to be more in line with the association documents. |
Attached are the forms for requesting an architectural modification and the approved Architectural Guidelines for owners use. Please see the individual neighborhood page for the specific fencing guidelines for your single family home neighborhood.
Please print out and complete the architectural application and return to the office by email, fax or drop off at the clubhouse. Paint swatches and bulky items must be dropped off at the front desk. Please be sure to provide an email address and a copy of your property survey, if required.

Exterior Painting: Paint schemes have been developed as a general guideline for owners who wish to paint their homes. Those who prefer to choose another color scheme may do so by providing paint swatches with their applications and painting a swatch on the side of their home for viewing by the committee. Those choosing a scheme from the paint book may also be required to paint a swatch on their home. The paint book is a guideline for the community and is available and strongly suggested for checking out at the front desk in the club. The color schemes provided to the right may not reflect the actual color.

Fence Requests: Please note that most fencing requirements are different for each neighborhood. Please review the guidelines carefully for your community. Those backing up to a conservation area or pond may be required to install a graduated fence line from six feet on the sides to four feet at the rear fence line. New wooden fences are no longer permitted in any of the communities.
Mulch: Natural pine bark mulch is required in the landscape beds of all communities. Those requesting changes must place an architectural application. Rocks are not permitted in landscape beds. Please review the Board Resolutions.
Mailboxes: Mailboxes are maintained by each homeowner. Vendors for mailbox maintenance include Creative Mailbox (813) 818-7100, Mailbox Solutions (321) 277-4858 and Vinyl Signs (813) 355-4231. Vinyl Signs will provide the numbers and TPN logo. Please contact the office for the mailbox numbers, the TPN logo and mailbox refurbishing, which includes sanding, removal of existing vinyl and repainting.
